Regenerative Medicine

The field of repairing or replacing damaged cells, tissue and organs.

Why Regenerative Medicine matters when choosing treatment

The field studying how to repair or replace damaged tissues and organs using cells, growth factors, or biomaterials—distinct from symptom management. It encompasses stem-cell therapy, tissue engineering, and cellular reprogramming. "Regenerative medicine" is an umbrella term, so when clinics use it, ask what specific modality they employ: are they injecting cells, delivering growth factors, or implanting engineered scaffolds? The term can blur unproven interventions with established techniques. Legitimate regenerative medicine addresses clear biological targets; vague "regenerative" claims often mask weak evidence.
