Getting to Sofia: flights from every region

Travel insurance should be told that the trip involves planned treatment. Obtain written confirmation about cancellation, complications, extended stay and repatriation; a standard policy may exclude one or more of these.
Keep a flexible contingency budget and local contact plan. If you become acutely unwell during travel, seek appropriate emergency care and tell clinicians what product or procedure you received rather than waiting for a remote coordinator.
