Question

Is stem cell therapy for Cerebral Palsy worth it?

Outside a properly authorised trial, current evidence does not justify presenting a paid cell intervention as established cerebral-palsy care. Independent paediatric review should protect proven support and define meaningful, child-centred outcomes.

How stem cells are studied for Cerebral Palsy

Cerebral palsy describes permanent disorders of movement and posture caused by disturbance in the developing brain; needs and associated conditions vary widely. Cell research has explored cord-blood and other products as possible modulators of inflammation or plasticity, usually alongside rehabilitation. These hypotheses do not mean that established brain injury is reversed or that different cell sources are equivalent.
