How much does stem cell therapy for Multiple Sclerosis cost? (2026)

The comparison dataset stores a Bulgaria planning observation of €3,000–€8,000 for treatment, compiled from cited public commercial sources. It is not a quotation from Stem Plus, and different products, doses, visits and inclusions must not be treated as equivalent. The stored registry query contains 92 Multiple Sclerosis records. Registration does not mean that a study is recruiting, that a person is eligible, or that treatment and travel are free; verify the current record and sponsor-cost terms directly.

Multiple sclerosis is an immune-mediated central-nervous-system disorder that damages myelin, axons and neurons. Autologous haematopoietic stem-cell transplantation (AHSCT) aims to rebuild the immune system after conditioning; it is fundamentally different from an MSC infusion marketed as neural repair. Neither approach should be described as replacing lost brain tissue or universally reversing disability.

What drives the cost for Multiple Sclerosis

Do not compare a commercial infusion quote with AHSCT or disease-modifying therapy as if they were the same intervention. Itemise conditioning, hospital care, product, monitoring, infection prevention, travel, follow-up and complication responsibility, and obtain an independent MS specialist's review.

AHSCT has been studied for selected people with highly active inflammatory MS, while its risks include those of intensive conditioning and immune suppression. NIH describes AHSCT as an experimental approach being compared with best available biologic therapy in severe relapsing MS. MSC, neural-cell and exosome proposals have different and generally earlier evidence. See the NINDS MS research overview and verify the exact protocol.

Price varies with cell type, dose, number of sessions, diagnostics, supportive care and follow-up. A lower range does not establish equivalent quality or outcome. Multiple Sclerosis cost — common questions

Why is Multiple Sclerosis stem-cell treatment so much cheaper in Bulgaria?

The collected commercial ranges differ, but they may describe different products, doses, visits and inclusions. A lower quote does not establish equivalent quality, evidence or regulatory status.

Is a cheaper programme riskier?

Price alone cannot establish risk. Verify the exact treatment status, provider and manufacturing authorisations, product identity, release testing, adverse-event plan and primary evidence.

Does the price include travel and hotel?

The €3,000–€8,000 range covers the medical programme. Add flights, hotel and recovery with our calculator for your true all-in cost from your city.

Will I get a fixed quote, or an open-ended bill?

Ask for a written quotation after clinical review, with the exact product, inclusions, exclusions, cancellation terms and circumstances in which charges may change. A website estimate is not a binding quote.
