IRB / Ethics Approval

Independent ethics-board review of a treatment protocol — a key safety signal.

Why IRB / Ethics Approval matters when choosing treatment

An independent ethics board (IRB) reviews every protocol before it starts — checking safety, scientific merit, informed consent, patient selection criteria. At a regulated EU clinic, this is mandatory. At an unregulated clinic, it doesn't exist. If a clinic won't name the ethics body that approved their protocol, that's a major red flag.
