Potency

A measure of how strongly a cell preparation produces its intended biological effect.

Why Potency matters when choosing treatment

A measure of how strongly a cell preparation does its job — usually tested by co-culturing cells with immune cells and measuring the dampening effect. High-potency cells deliver more anti-inflammatory signal per dose. Clinics should be able to show you potency data on the specific batch you receive.
