Balneotherapy

Therapeutic use of mineral water, gases and curative mud — a Bulgarian speciality used in recovery.

Why Balneotherapy matters when choosing treatment

Bulgaria's mineral springs aren't decoration — they're part of the recovery protocol. A 2024 study (Int. J. Biometeorology) found balneotherapy significantly lowers cortisol (stress hormone) and improves sleep quality. For conditions driven by inflammation and poor sleep (fibromyalgia, autoimmune), a recovery week in mineral water is measurably therapeutic, not just a holiday.
